Canadian-American Currency

I was in Niagara Fall, Ontario, Canada last weekend. It was a wonderful trip, but it was expensive. At that time the exchange was $1.05 CA for $1.00USA. When I went to Cold Lake, Alberta in June 2007 the exchange rate was even better than that. As I type this post the exchange rate is almost dead even. The good thing about Canada is that their money is still backed by gold. That is not true in the US. Soon it will be $1.05 US to $1 CA. This does not encourage me to go back to Canada. There needs to be an economic change in the US. I am not an economist so I do not know what needs to be done. If I need a Canadian fix, I can get Tim Horton's coffee in the US, view the falls on the US side, and rent Strange Brew.

Blog update

I lost track of this blog. I used it to post something from Front Sight back in July. I lost my information about this blog, until today. Now I am going to try to use this blog for other things. I hope to write in it more often.

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute

While flipping channels on the T.V. a couple of months ago I discovered a show on Versus network called the Front Sight Challenge. People were competing with a variety of firearms, in timed events and one-on-one events. I found it very fascinating.

Anyway, Front Sight is not just a competitive game show, it is also a training institute in Las Vegas. I have been receiving emails about training at Front Sight. I am so impressed. I find it more appealing than Thunder Ranch in Oregon and TDI in Ohio.

Anyway, I would like to share information about Front Sight.

I hope you visit these sites and learn about this wonderful training institute.
