From 1-16 May I was at Yokota, AB Japan for annual tour. I worked law enforcement: running radar, writing tickets, responding to alarms, etc. I worked 12 hour shifts: 6am - 6:30pm.
There was two days off: one day was on a base-sponsored tour of some temples on the Kanto plain. The other day off I took the train to the emperor's palace.
I hope to up-load pictures soon.
Overall, it was a good trip. I learned a lot about my military job and met many people. I doubt that I will see an annual tour like this again. Actually, I do not know if I would want an annual tour like this again. It was a lot of hassel, and the government does not want to pay me my full per diem. (I was told that my paperwork was correct, but they do not want to pay me per diem for food. My unit's orderly room is working it out.)

Inspiring Air Force Video
This video was shown to me during basic training (2004). I am lucky that I was able to find it on YouTube.
